Comments: This is the same great puzzle above with the singular exception that 100 skillfully rendered animals are superimposed over areas where they would be found naturally. The advantage of course is that the puzzle now becomes a bit easier as a child is able to match a bit of an animal to the rest of his parts. Is that good or bad? The results are not in yet. It would seem that relying on an artificial aid would hamper the learning process. On the plus side, it may help a balky puzzler stay on task, and over time grasp the information. Would we use this puzzle? Absolutely, especially with children under the age of 12 who might otherwise be overwhelmed with the original Global Puzzle. 600 pieces.
